Class Descriptions:
Kripalu Yoga: the Foundational Yoga Class of TMI: this class honors the Kripalu tradition of compassionate self-awareness and is designed to meet you exactly where you are. Expect a gentle adaptable flow rooted in Mindfulness, breath, and intuitive movement. Each class is co-created with the energy and needs of those in the room and has time for Self Guided Practice: a time for you to move at the speed of trust with your body and practice moving from your body’s own wisdom. Great for beginners and seasoned Yogis alike.
Yoga Sculpt: This energizing class blends intentional movement with light resistance to help build strength, boost circulation, and feel at home in your body. Rooted in Yoga and Pilates-informed movements, this practice balances effort and ease while empowering you to feel the burn!
Chair Yoga: This chair-based practice offers a welcoming space designed for people of all sizes, abilities, and energy levels. Explore gentle movement, breath, and presence in ways that support YOUR body and nervous system- no getting on the floor required. Wheather you’re new to yoga, managing pain or mobility limitations, or just need a softer space to land, this class invites you to connect with yourself exactly as you are.
Mindful Fitness: An upbeat full-body workout that combines strength, cardio, and intention. Designed to activate all major muscle groups with self love and awareness, this class will leave you feeling empowered and resilient. Expect body weight resistance, fun flows, and an opportunity to feel your strength.
Lotus Lounge: A tailored blend of ancient Buddhist body practices that will leave you feeling deeply centered, connected, and luxurious. This class, designed by Zen Buddhist Master Do’on Weik, is perfect for those who are in need of a calm mediation in motion- pulling from roots in Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Kripalu Yoga, Zazen, and Meta Practice, Feel the pulse of Prana moving through the body and enjoy the merit of your joyful efforts.
Awaken Power: Where stability and strength meet. Cultivate heat and build endurance during our morning Power class, designed to blend functional movement with intuitive heartfelt listening. Expect dynamic movements that awaken the body, the breath, and the mind, setting you up for a day built on grounded strength and uplifting discipline!
Soul Yoga: A practice rooted in remembering ancestral ways of BEing, our connection to the body, our connection to one another, and our innate wholeness and worthiness. This class blends the tools call and response, words of affirmation, music, and joy to sooth the soul and reclaim space. Drop into this beginner friendly flow, and drop into your soul.
